Unite the Union Brass Band is one of the most successful bands in Sheffield and South Yorkshire, formed in 1900. Over the years we have performed under several different names, including Sheffield Recreation Band, Stocksbridge Band, and City of Sheffield Band. We are famous for appearing in the blockbuster ‘The Full Monty’. In 2012, we were pleased to be able to name a new sponsorship deal with Unite the Union.

The Band is currently contesting in the 1st section. 2011 was a successful year for the Band, with placings at all contests entered, including becoming Butlins’ 1st Section Champions and 2nd place at the Spring Festival, Balckpool. 2012 will again be a busy year of contestig, beginning with Butlins’ in January.

Unite the Union excel in entertaining audiences and provide an ideal musical accompaniment to any event, either as a featured concert or as background music.
